As we inch ever closer to the NHS’ own 75th anniversary, we’ve been busy celebrating some of our longest serving staff members with the second in a series of events this summer.
The latest in a series of long-service events took place at the University Hospital of Hartlepool last week.
Staff from across the Trust with 39 years of experience and over were celebrated and thanked personally by chief executive Julie Gillon.
Staff were welcomed with afternoon tea and cake, before a certificate presentation and time for sharing some of their memories of working at the Trust.
“It was great to again be celebrating some of our longest serving staff and to get to know each colleague and their career stories individually.
“It’s an honour to be able to host these events and to continue to highlight the amazing work our staff have been involved in over the years.”
