Jennifer Teall who was visiting hospital to support her partner during an appointment has thanked the team after she took a turn for the worse herself.
Jennifer was visiting orthopaedic outpatients at the University Hospital of North Tees with her partner Simon Powles who was there to have treatment for an injury to his finger.
As she left the department, she started to feel light-headed.
Noticing she didn’t look herself, healthcare assistant Rachel Moran followed her outside where she was on scene as Jennifer fainted.
Jennifer Teall said: “I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did for me.
“Rachel followed me out and managed to get to me as I fainted. Then, I’m told other staff came along and helped me along to emergency care.
“They really went above and beyond to make sure I was okay – I can’t thank them enough.
