Our children’s outpatients departments are based at the University Hospital of North Tees and the University Hospital of Hartlepool. We also provide a number of clinics at the Peterlee Community Hospital and Lawson Street.
The department offers a range of clinics for children and young people from birth to 18 years old and depending on the clinic, a team of doctors, specialist nurses, speech and language therapists, community nurse’s or other members of the team will be within our clinics for:

There are a number of consultants from other NHS trusts who provide specialist clinics for immunology, hepatic conditions, cystic fibrosis, paediatric nephrology, neurology, genetic conditions, paediatric respiratory and muscle disorders.
