Types of Podiatry
Core Podiatry
Core podiatry is the treatment common foot conditions such as nails, corns and calluses.
Should you attend our core podiatry services, our podiatrist will be looking after and advising on your overall foot health while helping to relieve any day-to-day pain and problems experienced in the foot and ankle to keep you mobile.
High Risk
Our high risk service is for those with more complex conditions that can place the foot at risk, such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis or poor circulation.
Should you be referred to these services our podiatrists will work with wider multi-disciplinary teams to look after treatment and management of your condition.
Biomechanics
Biomechanics is the assessment and treatment of what is causing your pain, which may be originating in the foot or ankle, but may also be a musculoskeletal condition or located in the leg, hip, knee or low back.
Following an assessment our podiatrists will discuss the best way to manage your symptoms. Advice may include exercise, footwear advise or may include the prescription of customised insoles.
